Self-initiated studio concept
Nefer.
Perfume in the colours of Egypt.

The starting point
A perfume house that reads like a catalogue.
Imagined brief: a niche perfume house inspired by Egypt wants a website that feels like its own printed catalogue, with the collection, notes and prices easy to explore and buy.
Designed for
Luxury fragrance buyers, gifting customers and hospitality partners who expect a sense of occasion online.

The visual direction
Colour taken from lapis and faience.
The colours of Egyptian art: lapis, Egyptian blue, turquoise faience, carnelian and gold leaf used only as hairlines, on a cool alabaster white. Bottles are shot in hard desert sun.

The thinking
A clear idea.
A connected expression.
Photography leads. A giant serif wordmark sits over a faience flacon on raw lapis. Two cinematic 3D shots are played by the scroll: the camera moves in on the bottle as its notes appear, and the lapis glaze washes into turquoise faience. Around them, lapis and alabaster sections hold the three scents with prices, the raw materials, a desert campaign, how to wear it, and stockists. Sound is off until the visitor asks for it.
